Renovation for City Garden
A renewal of garden life was required for this City Garden.
Bamboo
Old paving, tired plants and uninspired planting were creating
a non welcoming looking to greet house visitors.
A simple and Elegant Design was choosen for the clients busy lifestyle with low maintenance
and style being key requests from outset.
This small garden was designed with a subtle Asian theme was choosen to distinguish the garden from the modest period gardens
of the area.

To counter this we decided to combine an asian them with a
spacious and pristine garden designed with clean lines and selective
planting.
A central area was encorporated to create freedom of function and ease of use for everyday practicalities such as parking bicycles and bin access and storage. but mostly to create an open and bright space.
Aestethically we achieved this by using Ballylusk Blighting/sand grit that gave an instant bright and pleasant feel to the garden.
To continue this warm welcome, we lined Kilkenny limestone from the front gate to the door.
600 by 300 flags were choosen for practicality and flagstones were sealed using both Drytreat Enchance to
enrich the colour and Drytreat Sealant to keep stone surface clean and resistant to erosion and defacing.
The contrast of black also inspired the Specimenand the gold colour of he dust/grit worked
